A TRIP TO BRISTOL

Today in the afternoon, we went to Bristol by coach. It is a very beautiful place.
We visited At Bristol Science Centre and we had lots of fun. There were a lot of hands-on exhibits and live science shows. They were interesting and interactive. We could meet virtual critters from Jurassic period, present our own weather forecast and be awed by icy bodies.
We also went shopping but we didn't have much time.

VISIT AT ROMAN BATHS AND DINING OUT

On Tuesday, we visited the Roman Baths. This place gives the name to this city, and now, we know why> It's an incredible construction preserved for thousands of years. There's a natural spring. And five or more pools are connected with this water. We learned a lot of things. Bath was first documented as a Roman spa, although archaeological evidence shows that it was founded earlier. The site of the Roman Baths' main spring was treated as a shrine by the Celts, who believed its water to be a cure for many afflictions and dedicated it to the goddess Sulis. We had a lot of fun on during this visit and learned a lot. Albert G., Guillem and Albert B.

MONDAY - FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL IN BATH

On our first day, we had some tests, the teacher played a video and we had an activity on the video.
To finish, we played a quiz game with questions about Bath, for example?
- What is another name for the market pillar beside the cooked meat stall?
- What is the object from which the Rector, or priest, speaks when giving sermon, and on what are his hearers sitting?
- What is the name of the cheese shop (Quiet Street) and when was the company founded?

OPEN TOP BUS TOUR

Yesterday we went around the city to know a little more about Bath.
We caught a tourist bus and the monitor that we had gave us some headphones to listen to the history of the famous places in Bath such as the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey and the Royal Crescent. In 1987, Bath was designated a World Heritage Site
Finally, our host families collected us in front of the sports centre at 16:00.
